Does Screen Gatekeeper use ads or analytics?
No. The extension package does not include ads, analytics, telemetry, or remote configuration.
Why does Chrome ask for custom site permission?
Custom sites require explicit host permission before the extension can inject the break overlay there.
What custom gatekeeper files work best?
Transparent WebM works best for animation. PNG and WebP are supported for still or lightweight custom gatekeepers.
